German Solar Service has been founded as Ebright Solar, a private company, by our partner Wolfgang Hinz in June 2003.The director has been actively involved in the design and manufacturing of our equipment during 6 ½ years of employment in the Far East. All operations, except manufacture, have gradually moved to South Africa since 2011, now operating from a Live Solar site in Ferndale, Randbug.

Our systems are installed in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape and Western Cape but operate at present mainly in the Gauteng area. We also support several Agents who service remote areas. For our Agents, we provide technical expertise, equipment and design assistance as well as technical training.

For clients with their own site electricians, we provide assistance where required in order to implement our equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation.

Overall, we are a full-service company that is capable of completing projects from beginning to commissioning, including customer training where required.
